We've been busy

Hello everyone. We've been busy in the editing room putting together Heroine. It's always interesting seeing a project come together in post production. Everything has been coming together well. We are very excited to share this short film with all of you. Since Heroine has moved into post production, we sat down and picked our next short film project. We had several scripts on the table, but the one we all liked the most was written by Juan Ortiz. He is a very talented writer, and we are interested to see what we can do with his project. The working title for this project is called, Eat Pink. I will leave it at that right now. Eat Pink will be moving forward into pre production through the end of the year, and we are looking to shoot it sometime early next year. The ball is rolling, keep checking back for updates.

Heroine Production - Day Three

That's a wrap! It was a long process, but we are finished with principal photography for Heroine. Tonight was our most taxing shoot of this whole project. Starting with a drunk person side swiping one of our talents parked cars (no one was injured), the night progressed with audio issues, pedestrians and traffic, and breakers popping, but we got through it. I have to thank our amazing cast and crew for sticking with us throughout this whole production. A thanks goes out to Pete and everyone that works at The Peacock Room for allowing us to shoot the exterior of their great establishment. Now we are going to be in the editing room putting everything together. We can't wait to share this with you. A lot of time and effort has gone into this piece. I know we are excited to see where it goes. Pre-production on our next project will be beginning very soon. Stay posted for the official announcement. See you out there.

Heroine Production - Day Two

This past Saturday we shot our second round of footage for Heroine. There were a few hang ups with locations for this scene. After postponing the shoot for a week, we locked down Will's Pub. Will's had everything we needed for this set-up, and is a great place to shoot. We had some extras come out to fill in our concert scene, thanks to them. Allison filled in as our bartender last minute, so a big thank you goes out to her. This shoot was very quick and to the point. On our first day, we knocked out eleven pages of the script. The second day we covered one. However, it is a vital scene for the over all story. We have one more day of shooting on this project, then it's off to the editing room for a while. We are all very excited about this project. Everything is looking great. We've been shooting exclusively on the RED ONE. Can not wait to share this with everyone. See you out there.

Heroine Production - Day One

Our first day of production is done. We wrapped up on our mall location this past Saturday, and shot a montage scene. Our actors really delivered some great performances. We had a great collection of crew that really pulled through in some tight situations. The Fashion Square Mall proved to be a great location. They were very accommodating to all of our needs. Due to location issues and scheduling conflicts, we had to reschedule our music venue scene until further notice. We are trying to lock everything down for this weekend, so hopefully everything works out. Everyone will be informed as soon as we have the details of the re-shoot. I am very excited to move into post with this project. There will be behind the scene footage and photos soon, so keep checking the site for those. Great stuff on the way, expect updates soon.

Going into Production - Heroine

We are going into production tomorrow for Heroine. This project began back in June, and to be one day away from production seems a little surreal. From locking locations to casting, this hasn't been an easy feat. Tomorrow will show if all of our hard work has paid off. The cast has been great through all of the rehearsals, so it'll be exciting to show their definitive takes on these characters. We've been working on camera tests for a dialogue montage sequence, plus rewrites, crewing, casting extras, and funding. This project has taught us so much, and it definitely has us excited for the next project. We are trying to finish Heroine by mid October, then we are hoping to hit the road with it. All and all, this has been a great experience thus far, and as long as the production goes well, I believe we'll have a very nice piece to share with the world. We'll find out. See you out there.

Heroine Project

We are in the pre-production stages for a short film that we are producing titled Heroine. This project has been in development since early June. It is great to see everything start to come together. We have cast a great group of talented young actors and actresses. There are still roles to be fill however. We have a pile of head shots and resumes from people that we are planning on getting in touch with this week to start filling our roster. Crewing this project is also underway. This will be the first short film that we have produced to be shot entirely on the RED ONE. Production is scheduled to start in mid. September. As this project gains momentum, there is another short moving into the development stage. This will be an ongoing trend for the remainder of the year and hopefully into the next. Keep checking the site for more information.

Video Premiere and Heroine Project

Tonight we'll be premiering the music video for Lydia Can't Breathe's single, Winner. The premiere will be at 321 Local Rock Bar in Cocoa Beach, Florida. If you are in the Cocoa Beach area come check it out. The video will be posted on here and other video pages sometime next week. This weekend we held an open casting for the Heroine project. The turn out was great. Thank you everyone for coming out, and a big thanks to Full Sail for setting us up with a great venue to cast. We are working through all of the auditions to find the ideal cast. A lot of great performances, so if you came and tried out, we should be getting back to people starting sometime next week. This is the first of a series of short films that Lucky Break Media will be producing. If you aren't right for this project, we have you on file for future projects. Exciting stuff, keep checking the site for updates. Thanks for the support.

Music Shack Commercial

The commercial spot we shot for Music Shack is now on our video page under media. This was a fun and easy production, and Music Shack was very pleased with the final product. On other business, we are finalizing the Lydia Can't Breathe music video. David J. Woods II added some great graphic work to the intro that give it that perfect something extra. The Supervillians edit is almost finished also, so be watching out for that real soon. We've been staying busy with rentals, and lots of other projects that I can't really talk about just yet. Exciting stuff on the horizon. Everyone here at Lucky Break Media wishes you a fun and healthy 4th of July, cheers.

Our new featured video is the Sunrise Wealth Advisors commercial we shot a few months back. This commercial has just started airing on Brighthouse networks, and will continue to air for the next three months. This was a great project to work on. The guys at Sunrise Wealth Advisors are great, and we hope to work with them again in the future. Chuck Konefes did the graphic animations on this video, and did a great job.

Hitting the editing room

Hey everyone! We've been very busy lately. A commercial we shot for Sunrise Wealth Advisors will begin airing on Brighthouse networks this week. This is the first commercial of ours to make it on Brighthouse, so we are very excited about this, and look forward to continuing this trend among our clients. There are also some music videos in the works. A live video for The Supervillains, and a music video for Lydia Can't Breathe are being cut at the moment, so be on the look out for those in the near future. Music Shack, which is a local music store, has hired us to produce a commercial for them to be aired on advertising trucks around Orlando and possibly Brighthouse. We are also in the pre-production stages of a series of short films, more on that to come. The list goes on and on. We'll keep you posted as projects mature. Thank you all for the continued support.
